Zijian Chen
Hello! I am Zijian (“Steven”), a junior undergraduate student at the University of Waterloo. I am lucky to be advised by Prof. Jimmy Lin and Prof. Victor Zhong in their labs; I have also worked with Prof. Raquel Urtasun and Prof. John P. Hirdes during internships.
My research spans Information Retrieval (IR) and Natural Language Processing (NLP): I work to jointly advance retrieval systems specialized for agents, and agents that make more effective use of retrieval systems.
